Devising the horizon is an exhibition, which serves as a triad of 3 interconnected series that have evolved while visually exploring man’s place in an increasing globalised world. The title is a reference to the age-old question: How much can we really construct our future, personally and on a macro scale? Light, colour, texture and form have been my instruments for processing this philosophical uncertainty. My approach is a visual conflict of perceived minimalism with hyper-constructed form and varied saturated palates.
Defining a city. Over the last six thousand years of urban experiments we have witnessed mesmerising transformations of society and its environment. The intimate relationship between people and things have generated a wealth of diverse urban combinations: from the ancient Indus Valley cities to the modern metropolis that is London.
